I took a leap of faith in March of 2010 and opened the doors to my salon in downtown Kingston. Despite its rundown appearance, I poured my heart and soul into it, taking every penny I had and embracing the risk. After just one year, it became clear that we needed a larger space, so we relocated to the west end.

I’ve gone to the same hairdresser for seven years, so you can imagine my apprehensiveness when I woke up one morning, knew I needed a haircut badly and my stylist was not available. I ended up trying out the Salon Yetmir, which was able to accommodate an appointment for me, had a reasonable price range for a haircut, and was right around the corner from my job. The salon is beautiful and the products they use is Davines from Italy which my hair can’t get enough. I will definitely go back.

Since I moved to Kingston from Toronto I’ve tried a few different salons, this was the first salon that I’ve been back to and plan on making it my regular. Love the atmosphere, it’s modern and small, so i dont feel like i am at a hair factory, and what I love even more is the offer of Starbucks coffe. As for the service itself, it’s great. They listen to what I want but also give me advice on what may or may not work with my hair type.
