Yetmir

For over a decade, Yetmir Keqa has been the creative force behind some of Kingston’s most fashionable women. Known for his dry wit and sincerity, he’s equally noted for his sensitive care of the diverse personalities who comprise his clientele. Yetmir made his name by being acutely attuned to both the inside and the outside of a woman's head. He believes that hair should be the natural extension of your inner beauty.

He moved to Kingston from Eastern Europe, 19 years ago. He began his career as a hairdressing apprentice at James Brett coiffure where his natural flair advanced him quickly. In early 2010, Yetmir opened his own salon in downtown Kingston. Since then, he designed a boutique salon located in the west end at 727 Gardiners Rd. Featuring state of the art equipment, Salon Yetmir simultaneously creates an atmosphere of relaxation and enjoyment. Clients can sip on a cup of macchiato coffee or specialty tea as they settle into their pampered time.

Seeing every client as unique, Yetmir has studiously avoided creating anything that could be called a signature cut. Nonetheless, Yetmir strives to give all his clients their own clean, warm, modern look that melds the glamour and grace of uptown with all the youth and vitality of downtown. It's the perfect formula: one that allows every woman to express herself easily, naturally and beautifully. And yes, he achieves comparable results for his male clients too.

Ardita

Ardita’s aesthetics career began 14 years ago. Growing up in Eastern Europe, she was a creative and sensitive child, fascinated with colours and shapes. She experimented with nail polish and her artistic pastimes sometimes caused trouble with her mom.

Ardita believes aesthetics should transcend a simple manicure or a facial. The aesthetician’s role is much more: it’s all about making people feel good and bringing out that inner beauty. When we contribute to someone’s well-being, we build confidence and hope. Most of all, when people feel happy, they spread happiness. It’s a link that keeps on going.

Ardita also believes life-long learning and continuous education is an important key to a successful, long-lasting career. Thats why she’s always participating in new courses and attending trade shows to follow the latest trends and techniques.
